Here is a great listing of free learning resources for the learners of the Japanese language. All are freely available on the web. Learn Hiragana & Katakana at your own pace, test yourself with quizzes, and vocab tests. Includes speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, reading practice, as well as newspapers, magazines, and bulletin / chat boards.
- Another resource is the Learn-Japanese website, which gives a brief introduction to Japanese writing, vocabulary, speaking, writing, and grammar lessons.
